Martin's new Performing Artist Series features the new Fishman F-1 Aura pickup system, with unobtrusive but powerful side-mounted on-board controls. Martin has developed a new fast neck shape for the series and a smaller bridge for more top resonance. The ebony fretboard sets off the white pearl and blue paua shell arrows and squares inlay pattern, and the new block letter logo inlay on peghead, with gold enclosed tuning gears, make this guitar a real looker! The pickup system blends the signal from a Martin Gold Plus transducer with one of 9 microphone sound images. Controls include separate 3-band EQs for pickup and sound image, volume & blend, compressor, phase control, anti-feedback filter with up to 3 notches, and a chromatic tuner.
